ATEK Communications is a Value Added Distributor-Reseller that began actual operations in 1999. We have weathered the recession and now are embarking on expanding its base of operations domestically and internationally. We have proven over the past three years that a business can and expand - even during a recession- by using the Internet and basic business principles to reduce costs and increase profits. We are currently in the process of reforming the company profile and structure to accomodate the expansion of our operations.
We are also "re-tooling" our product lines and manufacturer partners so as to capitalize on the inevitable expansion of our economy and the ability to supply all the new growth into wireless, fiber optics and "Smart Home Technologies". Our strong presence and continuing leadership by the use of Internet search engine technology has been increasing our core business each month- for the past 18 months- this during the worst high tech-telecommunications recession in over 30 years.
We strongly believe that if a company positions itself now with the right product mix from key manufacturers- it will dramatically increase sales over above and beyond most reasonable expectations. This is due to due to several factors ranging from the past four years of competitive supplier fallout to the lack of "new builds" or even "replacements" of basic telecommunications infrastructures since 2000. Since 2000 most businesses, including the regional bells operating companies have decided to "maintain" versus "replace and upgrade" their telecommunications equipment. This means some of the equipment is four to six and more years old. Battery back up systems have been stretched beyond capacity. It is possible what happened in the Northeast this summer with the blackout- could happen in some sector of the United States.
If this would happen-there would be no communications- no phones- no banks-nothing- there would be chaos. But on the brighter side-when basic services would be brought back up- Congress and the Senate would pour billions to replace the decaying systems. And we want to be one of the primary "Value Added" suppliers. Even without a catastrophe-RBOCS, carriers, ISP's service providers will all need upgrades. This current situation exists in the private sector as well with Fortune 500 companies and large private enterprises that have been reluctant to upgrade during the past four years due to financial and stock profile problems- will also have to upgrade- sooner or later.
We also have other opportunities that will contribute to the coming expansion such as your basic building wiring (in most buildings) that have "old CAT 3" or "CAT 5" wiring. All these buldings will eventually have to meet the new Ethernet 10-100 requirements (and beyond to Gigabit) and meet the EIA/TIA 568 A/B CAT 5e and CAT 6 wiring standards. (Visit www.TIAB2B.com for more information) Other areas of growth will be the continued expansion of wireless technologies (requiring fiber optics as a "backbone"), "Bluetooth 802.11" local Intenet access via wireless in retail-street front locations, biometric security, medical and genetic technology, and last but not least the billions slotted for the upgrade of security systems to counter terrorism (since 911)- and there are many more.
In summary we are looking for serious- interested individuals and or companies to partner up with us and expand our current base of operations in both California and Florida.
Our primary goal first is to expand into new domestic United States markets by the use of "agents" and or existing distribution companies or VARS. We have currently over 20 manufacturers that we represent with over 6,000 products to offer end users, contractors, RBOC's, CLEC, ISP's, ILEC's, CATV Cable companies, and local, state and government agencies. We will utilize our resources to allow the "agents" or "new locations" to use our existing relationships with our manufacturers to market all our products to the agents/partner's existing new and future customers. We also have a multi-year agreement with one of the world's largest coax connector-broadband products manufacturer in the world to open new distribution facilities throughout the United States. Being their primary US agent, ATEK Communications is looking also for serious companies or individuals interested in marketing their line of products.
